Why does the media portray BUSH as strong on nat security? |
|
I'm always hearing about the democrats wanting "someone who can match Bush on National Security".
WTF ?
All of a sudden being attacked by terrorists on your watch makes you an expert in fighting terrorism? Starting a war in the middle east makes you an expert on the middle east?
National Security is the only issue he has this election. And it's not his issue. Why are we letting him have it?

willing to rush into pre-emptive war using the policy he enunciated?

All he did was fumble our protection to begin with, atack the country that housed Al Qaeda while letting Bin Laden escape, and attack a country that had nothing to do with the attacks on us while refusing to fund any measure here at home to protect ports, chemical, and nuclear plants. He's actually failing on this front and has left us wide open to another attack.

4. Bush is strong National Security? |
|
Bush is strong on National "Insecurity" and fear. He didn't and won't protect our homeland. Our National Guard aren't here for disasters let alone war.
During WWII citizens were involved in security and emergency programs. Not now...FEMA takes over. FEMA's plan is scary to me. Scare me why? They don't want citizens to feel involved or able to protect themselves and their families. Why is that but for tyranny?
Democrats have said, this...in one way or another. They need to say...he's not strong on our safety...is he?

7. Because the media is robotic |
|
They use group speak
Group think is that Repubs are strong on defense
Therefore they say Bush is strong
It all makes perfect sense, unless you think about it, & they wouldn't want to do something so unusual.

8. Yeah, and what about the terrorist attack using Ricin? |
|
* can't even protect some of the richest, most protected people in our country (senators) in one of the most guarded buildings in our country. We really should be talking this up as further evidence of *'s inability to protect us.

9. cuz that's the Repug line |
|
after hearing so often that BushCo's greatest strength is national security, I'm starting to believe it x(
seriously though, the Repug line also omits any "domestic" terrorism from the discussion on national security. why? because it blows a hole in their facade of defense.
after all, wasn't Timothy McVeigh from Iraq? that guy that sent anthrax and/or ricin, wasn't he Iraqi? I'm kidding, but see how well that works out for them?
