Say what you will and bash her if you wish, but I stand in awe of our new Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.

She's done all the right things, no matter **what** you hear from the media yakkers.

She backed a man who stood up for her and bent a few elbows on her behalf - John Murtha. The outcome doesn't matter. She did the right thing.

She stood up to AIPAC Jane and avoided seating a man who maybe could do the job but who has more baggage than did Molly Brown as she embarked on the maiden voyage of the Titanic.

Today she very politely and very nicely - but with no chance for misunderstanding - told Bush that he better go along to get along or his life will be miserable when she said she feels sorry for him. How sweet (like the sweetness of a spider bite).

I expect great things from our Speaker.
