Is a "thumping" and a "tsunami" the same as a "mandate"?
I have heard Republicans use the above descriptions for the election results last month. Even Bush himself called it a "thumping". Oh Karl, Come out, come out, wherever you are! Democrats need to recognize that they indeed do have a mandate from the American people. They have a mandate for change. On nearly every issue, the voters said they were sick and tired of the Republicans. Let's hope they are not timid in responding to the voters wishes...

Let's hope they don't blow it or it could be another decade or so before given another chance..
