Is the President to be elected in 2040 serving in Iraq today? |

No doubt a democrat in the Kerry, Murtha mold. Currently patrolling the streets of Baghdad or Fallujah and developing his/her political values to last a life time; getting a viable, relative education. Their opponent no doubt will be some cowardly young republican chicken hawk in the limbaugh, cheney, hannity, o'reilly, abramoff, santorum, etc, etc, etc, mold; currently waving flags, getting drunk on the weekends and developing republican values to last a life time.

5. I thought of that after I posted |

If republicans have their way I doubt that we will. I'll be 86 if I make it that long. I sure do like the idea of the constitution going on like the Energizer Bunny. Why is that thought so foreign to "patriotic conservatives" who would throw our liberties in the trash in a heartbeat because of blatherings from the pulpit and the radio?

6. Why 2040? I mean, we elected several Iraq War vets this past election |
|
including Patrick Murphy of PA-08 (he's the first that comes to mind because that's my old district).
Personally, I don't think we need to wait 34 years for some of these folks to get elected.

I was opining and figuring on my toes and fingers the round about age of those who run for President. Loading those democratic veterans up into congress by the tankfull is fine with me.
And just imagine, free republic is planning to run their college republican chickenhawk criminal, immoral bastards for congress as well, so we better stay busy. No doubt the next limbaugh is dropping out of college as we type.
