Just laugh at them ....... just laugh and laugh. Roll your eyes. Have fun with them.
The Republic Party and their on-air 'opinion leaders' and 'opinion makers' have gone completely nuts in the last few weeks. Their schtick is bankrupt. Rush Limbaugh and Billo Reiley and Shawnnaninny are being called cartoons and fools outright. Michael Weiner Savage is seen for the hate monger he is. Ann Coulter lost all credibility when she went after the 9/11 widows.

So laugh at these fools and court jesters. Share their words with your coworkers and with that right wing neighbor as the jokes they are. "Did you hear what that fool Rush did yesterday? Ha ha ha ha. He said .... ha ha ... he said .... O man I'm dying here .... hahahahahaha .... he said ...... "

These people are not opinion leaders. They've been unmaksed. The curtain has been pulled back. They're feckless and bankrupt.

It is a new day. Celebrate it. With laughter. Show them to the world as the jokes they are.

3. It really seems like the wheels are coming off of the republic party
spin machine after all this time. For so long they would get away with every lie and falsification they would come up with. Now it seems like all of their deceptions are coming to light all at once. For example, the secret notes of the administration inner circle concerning their private views on the war in Iraq, while publicly their position was all 'stay the course' etc. This duplicity is hurting the repubs reputation with the public at large. I hope this continues a while.

4. I'll celebrate when they are off the air and are not
getting a large audience. As of now, they still are.... Their power is far from over.

6. Yes, I believe the Democratic Party is finally presenting itself
as the Mainstream Party of America, after so many years as the fringe party, the 'B' team. This is what it needs to do to win elections. As for the talking heads like Rust Limbough, Shawn Vanity, etc, their listenership is way down recently, as people become wise to their deception. Most Americans actually do agree with the Democratic party's ideals and goals, as opposed to the repubic party's enrichment of big business, privelege, and greed. And all of the scandals don't help them, either.

9. Exactly, now is the time for us to promote the reality that they are the radical
fringe trying to impose a bizarre social agenda on the country.

I hope we don't let this opportunity slip away in the name of "compromise" again.
Welcome to DU:toast:

12. I think you're right.
I believe that the neoconservatives are the true "radicals" and everyone else... EVERYONE else, liberals, progressives, conservatives, moderates, etc. are the "traditionalists" in this country. The vast majority of Americans do not believe in neocon doctrines, in spite of the fact that many of them have voted for Repubic politicians again and again. They need to be isolated for the radicals they truly are.

7. Their listenership/viewership numbers are tanking pretty fast, actually .....
They're nowhere NEAR where they were just a year ago.

8. Don't forget to point
It's always important to point as well as laugh, so that even the short bus riders get who you're laughing at. It's a shameful fact of life in America that the likes of Billo, Seanie and the Junkie have access to the nation's airwaves, much less that they get paid huge sums of money to pollute them.

11. Well their core
listener's will not leave. But at least they are not getting any new listener's & many others are leaving. I have always advocated campaign reform to include money paid to advertise during these shows. They obviously get a lot of their talking points from politicians.
