Shelley Sekula-Gibbs is a horrible speaker.
That is being kind. I hope she was still overwhelmed by speaking in the well of the House of Representatives in company of such august personages, because she was simply awful! She was tongue tied and stumbling over her own words, she couldn't even read her speech about shooting those damned trespassing "illegal immigrants" which were invading her constituent's ranches while they were powerless to react since they would be sued for violating the civil rights of the "illegals invading their property"! Where have we heard that before?

9. There were two elections for the seat.

The regular election Lampson won; he takes office in January.

The special election Sekuka-Gibbs won; she's taken office and leaves office in January.
