"The politics of common purpose..." |
|
Evan Bayh just said that on The Situation Room and it caught my attention...
He was eloquent, sincere and refused to say anything bad about Hillary or Obama...
He also, when asked by Wolf, said that he couldn't think off the top of his mind anything Bush has done well when it comes to Iraq...
He is a conservative democrat, that's for sure, but he combines the experience of being a governor and Senator...
He is not my choice, as of now, but I think we should at least give the guy a chance and listen to what he has to say...

1. Now, what do you suppose he meant by that phrase? |
|
Is that how he sees politics?
As a means for Democrats and like-minded folks to come together for common goals?
I agree, though, we need to keep an eye on him. And listen to what he has to say........
Governers often make excellent presidents.......
But they aren't often recognized for their experience.
Senators have the media exposure needed to grab the headlines, though...
His having been both gives him the best of both worlds.......
