Why aren't more actors running for office as Democrats.

It's worked big time for the GOP.
There are plenty of actors who are Democrats.
They would already have the notoriety.
What about George Cloony, Warren Beaty or
Brad Pitt ?

and actually have TALENT unlike most GOP Actor/Politicians (Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Dennis Miller).

Dems can afford skeletons far less than Repugs can. Especially considering that the media is on THEIR side.

That anybody in Hollywood whose politics we admire probably has SOMETHING in his or her past that would fuel years of attack ads. Simply because they are openly human.

saying he couldn't run because of the skeletons in his closet. he said he has slept with so many women that there was bound to be controversy
