Did you hear? The chaotic mess in Iraq isn't Bush's fault. Nope, it's not.

It's the fault of the Iraqi people...those apathetic Iraqis themselves, who don't give a rat's ass about running their own country.

Anyway, this is Bush's latest theme for placing the blame anywhere but himself. We're hearing more and more about it every day on the news, how the Iraqi police, the military, and that self-elected government just aren't trying hard enough, how the Iraqi citizens just can't stop fighting with each other, and blah blah blah.

Funny, though, how most of the experts predicted the strong possibility of all-out Civil War in Iraq long before we invaded if things didn't go like we intended.

So.....Bush invades Iraq for WMD's (really for oil).

Then, after no WMD's turn up and the insurgents suprise the shit out of him that the mission is NOT accomplished, it's a war for "freedom and democracy". Yeah, sure!

Then, when the notion of "freedom and democracy" bombs out, and civil war erupts, it's all the Iraqi's fault. Bush had nothing to do with it.

Yup, it's all the Iraqi's faults that we won't be able to withdraw our troops now, either. Darn those people.

Amazing, though, how in a recent opnion poll of Iraqis (according to CNN this morning), that 9 out of 10 of them want us the fuck outta their country.

1. I read the other day, on some "other" site that it's the liberals
fault that everything is a mess over there because if we'd have stood behind him from the beginning we'd be outta there by now. :wtf:

2. It's the Democrats too
A caller on C-Span said if we had been dealing with a "rational civilization" we would have suceeded in Iraq. Also the Democrats in Congress were guilty of politicizing everything and were more worried about tearing Bush apart than winning the war on terror. Now it is time for the democrats to do the right thing and get it together and win this thing.

3. It's not so surprising
It's no so surprising that President Miserable Failure continues to cast blame on everyone else for the problems he creates; hell, he's done that all his life and been rewarded handsomely for it. I don't understand why the media cheerleaders continue to rustle their pom-poms for him every chance they get. Hundreds of journalists are on the casualty list from Iraq and Afghanistan; and yet CNN, Fox, and the Majors all repeat verbatim whatever scurrilous scapegoating occurs to this bunch of crooks.

9. Isn't everything, Opi?
All of it, all Clinton's fault. I wouldn't be surprised to hear some loony fundie preaching that Clinton tempted Eve with an apple. That's how powerful Clinton is.

5. Well the Hell with em. Let's invade a country where people care.
It'll have to be small (no bigger than Bagdad) - how about Lictenstein.

7. I remember reading
on "Newshounds.us" before the elections that one of those talking heads said that it was the democrats fault we are in Iraq now. If they would only allow us to drill in the ANWR then we would not be dependant on the oil coming from the middle east & would not have had to invade Iraq.

Also it must be Clinton's fault as well because who else are you going to blame. While we are at it lets just blame the other 2 "axis of evil" member nations Iran & South Korea. That is a round up of all the usual suspects. Now to just have the judge & jury (Mr. Decider) himself pronounce judgment so we can move on to the next great screw up we can get our hands on & start the finger pointing again. "What a wonderful world".
