10 U.S. troops killed in four incidents in Iraq

POSTED: 7:01 p.m. EST, December 6, 2006

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Ten U.S. troops were killed Wednesday in four incidents across Iraq, three of them attacks using makeshift bombs, the U.S. military said.

The three bombings killed nine troops, a military spokeswoman said. The 10th, she said, was a "non-battle death." More specifics on the incidents were not immediately available, she said.

The deaths -- along with three that occurred Monday and were announced Wednesday -- brought the number of U.S. troops killed since the start of the Iraq war to 2,913. Seven civilian contractors of the Defense Department also have died.

Thirty U.S. troops have been killed in December.

Other violence in Iraq claimed at least 21 lives Wednesday, and 45 bullet-riddled bodies were found across Baghdad, all believed to be victims of sectarian death squads.

2. Repubs are saying we need more troops there. McCain always says this.
We don't have the troops.

The only way you could raise the troop numbers is if you have a draft.

3. Who wants to be the last to die in Iraq?
Bush needs to be arrested and tried for war crimes.

The talking heads keep arguing about stay, train, leave and the consequences while Americans are dying every day.

Our troops and their families cannot wait...bring them home.
