Why Does Fox Frame 2008 "Hillary vs. Obama" ?

FOX News Poll: Obama Trails Clinton in 2008 Dem Primary

The only candidates Fox names in the headline and lead paragraph is Hillary, Obama, McCain, Giuliani.

Does Fox's frame-of-choice have something to do with this?

In head-to-head matchups, Giuliani has a 9-point and McCain an 8-point edge over Clinton. These results are essentially unchanged from previous polling.

When the Democratic candidate is Obama, the Republican advantage increases. Giuliani bests Obama by 11 points and McCain tops him by 19 points.

Why does Murdock choose to downplay Al Gore?

Why does Murdock try to pretend Wesley Clark doesn't exist?

1. For the same reason why the Rethugs took out Dean and Clark in '04

Clark and Gore would be the hardest for them to beat.

2. I'm guessing you're asking a rhetorical question
The very fact that right-wing pundits in the MSM have such engorged hard-ons for Hillary and/or Obama is precisely why I don't support either of them for President in 2008.

4. I think Obama should wait until '16 to try for president
I think he'd be more effective as a running mate for '08.

3. Hillary and Obama would be a good story
also-rans like anyone that ran in 2004 or Gore would not be as a big a story. That's just one idea. I'm not sure I believe it myself.

7. It's so obvious that if you don't get it, I'm not sure I can help

Let's start with framing the debate.

Republicans and corporate-sponsored Democrats can't wait to dictate the terms of the 2008 presidential election. This matchup is their wet dream, to be endlessly humped for MONTHS.

Ms. Clinton, Rudy, Barack, and McCave.

I'm willing to wager that none of these will be the next POTUS.

This is pure total bullshit from the media.

on edit, from your post I can see you get it. No offense, I used strong words.
