1. Yawn.
I guess since he obstructed the count on the 2004 elections, he is a "made man" now.
Just ask Harris and Blackwell how well that worked out for them, Bill.
I'll take a pass on this and just say...No, thank you.

4. Richardson's office just issued a denial
Someone in Richardson's office issued a statement saying that he is not running for President and that Faux is playing some kind of game.

Of course the media here is not known for being fair or balanced OR accurate

5. there's videotape
on the Fox News website.

He hasn't announced yet, but he made it pretty clear he intends to run.

6.  Well, there you go then
Proves my point about the media here at least.

Interesting that the denial was announced this morning. I don't have cable so I never saw the Faux report about him.

I imagine he will be an interesting candidate but I still don't care for him after he refused to help the Dems in NM District 1. Word is he refused because they wouldn't go on record saying that they supported him for President in '08.

Of course, he didn't actively work against them, but he didn't appear with them in public either, not even when Bill Clinton came to New Mexico. Of course Richardson did not refuse to help 'behind' the scenes', but it is possible that just one public appearance by this incredibly popular DEMOCRATIC Governor would have helped to gain the 800 votes that we needed to oust the RETHUG Heather Wilson.

Just sayin'

7. it's a valid point
I guess I'm saying that he's probably an also-ran in the primaries, unless Hillary decides not to run.

Truth is, though, each of these candidates has flaws.

8. Indeed.. you're right about that
However, none are as flawed as "The Understanderer" himself. After his comments on the ISG yesterday, and everything else he has screwed, it's probable the Dems will win in '08 no matter who runs.

Richardson would be a viable VP candidate.

10. Did his office say that he is not running, or that he hasn't
made a decision yet?

9. Great News
This is great news. Bill Richardson probably wont be the nominee but he will be a great VP pick. This is because he has experience in government (Clinton Cabinet), experience at the U.N (U.S. Ambassador), comes from Mid-West state (2008 battleground), is currently in politics (i.e. Governor) unlike either Clark or Edwards, and has an hispanic heritage that could help the Democrats in 2008.

Richardson to my knowledge has also spoken out about the Iraq War.

I would happily endorse Richardson as VP to Gore, Clinton (if she has to be the nominee) or Obama.

Of course this is all dependant on him being scandal proof and therefore not liable to GOP attack.

GORE' 08

GORE/RICHARDSON - Both anti-Iraq War, both men of experience and one from South and the other Mid-West to offset the impact of McCain (Mid-West).
