2007 House Floor Schedule
From the Democratic Whip
On Nov 7th , the American people sent a resounding message of change and a new direction for our nation. We not only heard that message, but also are prepared to respond to it through a schedule that permits and get results for the American people.

1. I like the "Republican Retreat" on the 25th and 26th
Cause you know sometimes words have two mean-ings.

Here's to hoping they retreat and stay there for the next 2 years.

5. Ample time for "district work"
So what's the big fat hairy deal? Seems to me everybody gets to go home at least every 4 to 6 weeks or so for at least a week.
