Another WH brain trust.. Cheney Flunked out of Yale and his first of his
five draft deferments was at community college.

I don't know how he managed to lose his scholarship to Yale --possibly it was East Coast Ivy League Culture Shock.

I think a major problem in our goverment has been too many people who did not flunk out of Harvard and Yale. In the upper echelons of government we have had too many clubby Ivy Leaguers, coming from the same social set, who believe the lies they have been told about themselves----that they are superior, the "best and the brightest", born to rule.

GW has degrees from both Yale and Harvard, most likely under the legacy and family connections admission options.

People generally educate themselves. Many community colleges provide good opportunities for learning.

I do think that his deferments qualify him as a full-bred (if not a "well-bred") chicken hawk.
