That doesn't sound that ambiguous to me.

11. But they both said they are going to investigate.
That also is rather clear.

And who knows where investigations may lead...

24. Conyers has all the evidence he needs.
Conyers already has the evidence he needs, fully vetted through his "forums". His investigations only lack the stamp of officialdom. It should take him a couple of weeks to come up with two dozen articles of impeachment.

3. ...
A lot of it is very premature from what is being said by many liberal radio hosts. The way I see it, give them some time and if they still don't do anything...THEN criticize them.

5. Not only premature, but an inaccurate representation of the facts
Leahey and others are already setting up for investigations

26. You better believe it!
If Conyers had said we're going to investigate and see where that leads, there would have been no criticism from Malloy. But to take impeachment off the table before investigations commence, that is premature. That is jumping the gun. And did Malloy say the dems were not going to investigate? No he did not. That is inaccurate. Randi Rhodes has already spun this into its opposite AS IF Conyers had said we're going to investigate and see where that leads. She's calling me a whiner. She's saying "We don't have the facts yet. We don't know what Bush has done". C'MON RANDI!! Cindy Shehan said "We're setting the table right now". Why can't Randi say "Not so fast, Nancy (D)"

6. Mike is jumping the gun on this...
Edited on Fri Dec-08-06 09:44 PM by zulchzulu
Of course John Conyers is going to investigate.

If he doesn't (at first), he and his office will get pummeled with emails, phone calls, online petitions and everything else to get him to do his job. Pelosi will get the same treatment.

Believe me, it won't be hard for them to get into gear when they realize that the "Kumbaya" act is not going to work with the Chimp. He's already flipping the bird at his father and those that appointed him into power.

The Chimp knows that his getting into office was from Jim Baker and his daddy's pals. That's on Page One.

I mean... C'mon!!!

And while I disagree with Malloy on this, I know he is a valuable voice for Progressives. I'd be glad to have him on the air in my area.

Malloy is adding his viewpoint to the debate and I think that is good for democracy.

23. prosecute Hastert and Sensenbrenner
We should be prosecuting Dennis Hastert and James Sensenbrenner for treason and war crimes for NOT impeaching Bush. Then, hopefully, Pelosi and Conyers will wake up. Defending the constitution is not optional. Bush took the Bill of Rights off the table and right into the shredder. Hastert and Sensenbrenner, and now Pelosi and Conyers are doing the same with the impeachment clause
