The Obsession With Bush Is A Necessity |
|
I keep reminding myself that George W Bush is not worth wasting our time or effort upon. Nobody likes a "know-it-all" - especially a know-it-all that does not appear to be very intelligent or rational. It's rather like a race car driver driving with his eyes closed...
Yes, we would like to just forget about him but we are fearful of turning away for fear of what might happen while we are not looking. There's something so irrational and unpredictable about the President of the United States that even his father weeps for him.
We would like to think that he is irrelevant now that the Democrats have taken control of the House and Senate. However, like a delinquent child with a BB gun, no windows are safe in the neighborhood. He must be watched as closely or more closer than the "terrorists" that might attack us again. The country is in peril so long as he sits in the White House.
So, I tell myself it is not an obsession as much as it is a vigilance. As a concerned American, I will hold accountable those Republicans that continue to support his dangerous and irrational policies. In my opinion, that should be the ultimatum in the next election. If you support George W Bush, you will pay the ultimate political price - defeat.

Unfortunately, his attitude is exactly as I predicted when I heard he was running for president the first time. Cocky, arrogant little twerp who would make a mockery out of the greatest job in the world. I just didn't predict that he would kill so many people in the process.
I would say I was ashamed of our citizenry for getting us into this predicament, but we know better, don't we?
You are right. Although most of us would turn our backs to him and walk away...waiting for the glorious day he was finally out of the White House, we can't afford to. We have to protect the few "windows" we have left from the child who holds the bb gun.
Good piece.

2. I have always been of the opinion that Shrub is a front-man, a puppet, who |
|
is incapable of formulating anything on his own. To me the question would seem to be "Can his "handlers" control * at this point?"? Can TPTB control Shrub for the next 2 years? They've created quite a situation for themselves. I honestly think they're going to look for a plausible way to get rid of him, "medical reasons" or something.

Any means at all would be fine by me. America can't tolerate much more of this idiot. It's time for Bush to GO.

4. A BB gun and the nuclear football. |

Don't worry. Cheney is there to keep an eye on Junior.
Doesn't that make you feel better?
