Bush to send 25,000 more troops to Baghdad ?
Edited on Sun Dec-10-06 01:52 PM by kentuck
Why? Is it really one last surge to knock out the insurgency? Is it really one more push to win this war? Think again.

Who is scheduled to be executed in the near future? Who expects an upsurge in violence when that happens? What would they need to quell that uptick in violence in the Sunni neighborhoods? Yep! About 25,000 more troops!

Of course, this is pure speculation on my part. However, I have studied these people closely for 6 years and they have yet to have been honest with us. Keep an eye on the troop levels and the execution date and see if they do not coincide? My bets are that they will...

3. The I.S.G. report
"Operation Together Forward" which put more U.S. troops in Baghdad
resulted in a 43% increase in violence.

For the love of God, bush you are in a hole STOP DIGGING.

8. This time of year, overlapping tours often cause an increase in troops...
...as the new units come in and adjust to the circumstances and the units on their way home transition out. Equipment and training is transferred gradually as well for a smooth transition. So don't be surprised if the troop level does go up. It wouldn't be anything new for this time of year. So if reports come out that troop levels are up in the next month, take it with a grain of salt. It's probably just the usual transition.
