6. They sure do. I am a Dean supporter and angry as hell because |
|
I think this is what "came down."
The media pushed Dean too early, calling him the "front-runner", interviews galore, saying he was "way out in front." Time, Newsweek pics etc. Was that reallty true? We know the DNC and DLC did not want Dean and I think they used the media to "deep 6" him. After all the adulation, the debates turned nasty, nearly all the candidates turned on Dean. Go back and look at those debates. It was Dean they were after; after all he was the "front-runner."
Then suddenly Iowa comes and Kerry breezes through, same in NH and for Dean - NOTHING, absoulely nothing.
I think it was all contrived to get rid of him.
I feel so bad, because I truly believe in Dean.
Dean has brought more people into the Dem party than any other candidate.
Dean got the other candidates to finally take off their pink tutus and fight back.
Dean was the first to mention Clinton when the rest stayed away from mentioning him.
Kudos to Dean!

8. Thanks to everyone for staying in |
|
you all make the candidate that much more able to beat Bush.
However, I would disagree enough to say the party doesn't owe anyone anything.

country he would have to get out but of course since ones seem to agree we still have somewhat of a democracy still, so he stays. I heard callers on C-Span today on the issue of whether Kerry would be the nominee and several said the republicans are behind him and they would not be voting for him. I wonder how wide spread this belief is?

"The Party" has withstood and will always withstand the assaults of contemporary Elmer Gantry's with their credit card scamming and skimming "Campaign Managers".
Dean & Trippi couldn't wash McGovern & Hart's shorts.
