but unlike Animal House, this is real and people will keep dying as bush
refuses to come to grips with the mess he has caused.

WASHINGTON Dec 12, 2006 (AP)— The White House says President Bush has largely decided on a new approach to the Iraq war that he will announce next month, but he gave no public hint of his plan Tuesday when he met with the country's Sunni vice president.

"Our objective is to help the Iraqi government deal with the extremists and the killers, and support the vast majority of Iraqis who are reasonable, who want peace," Bush said after an Oval Office meeting Tuesday with Tariq al-Hashemi.

The president took no questions about the announcement by his aides that he would wait until the new year before laying out a new course for U.S. involvement in Iraq.

"It's not ready yet," press secretary Tony Snow had told reporters earlier.

1. A Bush quote from over two years ago...
"They've seen me make decisions, they've seen me under trying times, they've seen me weep, they've seen me laugh, they've seen me hug. And they know who I am, and I believe they're comfortable with the fact that they know I'm not going to shift principles or shift positions based upon polls and focus groups."

- Interview with USA Today, Aug. 27, 2004

Nothing will change, people will continue to die, and we're in a heap of weeds.

3. Fool thinks he has all the time in the world and the right to play
with people's lives.

I hope he finds himself on trial at a much younger age than Pinochet did. Pinochet conveniently died, but then again I think is was 90 or so years old.

I'd like to see this catch up with george before his next birthday.

4. ...meanwhile, our troops are dying for this lie of a war...
George Bush is a murderer.

How many more will die while he waits for the politically correct moment to make his announcement?

Anyone wanna bet he wants to up the troop numbers? One last big boost to knock down that nasty ole insurgency. The man is a fool.

7. The guy has 24 Christmas parties to go to
Jeez, give him a break! It's the holiday season, and who doesn't ratchet back a little during December? Bush has worked hard all year, and he's earned a little time off, especially with all the terrific output he's produced. Just pull his finger if you want a sample.

Besides, it's not like it's Jenna or Bar Jr. with their fannies on the line in Iraq.

In case it escapes anyone, :sarcasm:
