Freakin' brilliant. This man is a president in a dweeb package. It's a shame he's so unelectable.

3. "What about the slaughter of Iraqis if we leave?" asks Wolfie...
"Our first priority are our own men and women," say DK.

He points out that the money is there NOW to bring the troops home, and that BushCo just got $70 bil in OCTOBER, and now wants $100 (?) billion more..."What for?" he asks. We can bring them home now with the money already appropriated. Appropriating another $100 billion just means they stay that much longer.

He goes on to point out that any legislator, dem or republican, that votes for this new money, loses his right to say he is against the war. If you're against the war, stop it. Bring the troops home, don't spend more money and send more troops and say you're against the war.

He really makes absolutely perfect sense.

In all seriousness, of all the votes I've cast in my life, my vote for DK in the 2004 primary was the one of which I'm most proud. Because of CT's total-Kerry leaning, I didn't have to vote strategically, just vote my conscience. That's when it occurred to me that out of everyone I heard in the debates and in position papers, DK was by far the MOST PRESIDENTIAL. He is a brilliant man, with incredible common sense and doesn't give a shit about packaging himself.

Unfortunately, this is America, where packaging is more important than content.

9. I am also more proud of my 2004 vote for Kucinich than any other,

including the ones I cast for Eugene McCarthy in '68 and George McGovern in '72.

4. DK is a visionary and remains steadfast and consistant...........
if bush the psychopath, Jekyll and Hyde, maniacal failure could become president, certainly an informed, rational, reasonable scrawny guy could ALSO become President

7. DK was impressive, very impressive!!!
He is going to make other Democrats face up to cognitive dissonance by holding their feet to the fire on whether they have the ability to say let's end the War then stop funding it. He truly has the courage of his convictions and that was refreshing to see! Go Dennis! :)

8. Why, why, why must you buy into the "he's so unelectable" meme?

The right wing wants us to nominate Hillary or Barack and go down in flames.

:banghead:

American voters gave Democrats the majority in the House and Senate last month because they want changes. And what are the majority Dems doing now? They're acting like they're the minority party and mustn't displease the right wing.
