Don't those people ever learn? They certainly never give up.

Phil Kline is a right wing idiot. Voters rejected him overwhelmingly in the 11-8-06 elections. Paul Morrison beat the pants off him.

So now he has been appointed District Attorney. And everyone knows the only people who will get prosecuted (and badly at that) and abortion clinics and family planning groups.

Those right wingers out in Kansas just never give up. They lose and they just pull back and attack from another direction.

2. It's all over the Kansas City news yesterday and today.

But I will try to find a link to the editorial this morning.

I don't remember outrageous statements - although that may very well have happened.

He was the one who got medical records from abortion clinics - told people he was prosecuting child endangerment cases or something like that. It was all so bogus. He was trying to get medical records on late term abortions. He finally got the records by the way.

The only thing good about this is that we will have lots of good news stories about how messed up he is.

5. Johnson County is a pretty affluent suburb of Kansas City

Its community college is nicer than some state colleges. I doubt there are many abortion clinics there.

6. If he got voted out
why do we need to appoint him to more authority. Haven't the people rejected him previously. I thought about this in the '00 elections when John Ashcroft lost to a dead man & was appointed US attorney general.

7. Did you read the paper this morning? Its full of letters to the editor
about Phil Kline. People are pretty upset. And they should be. The guy is incompetent among other things.
