8. Extend tours and rotate others back early.
My only question is when are the troops going to mutiny?

3. Where did he manage to scrounge them from?
Talk about a completely inadequate token. This is pathetic. And deadly.

4. 7000?
That's a drop in the bucket....

When you mess around with a bull-dog, you'd better hurt him really bad with your first try...'cause you'll never get another......

7000 troops will just "piss off" the insurgents.....

10. Someone help me out here --
Didn't a U.S. general or two say in the early spring (in response to Murtha, I think) that troop levels in Iraq would be down to 100,000 by the end of the year?

I remember thinking at the time that he was just blowing smoke in response to the interest Murtha was getting, and wondering what the numbers would be around now.

Anybody remember this?

11. Let's see, he can send Jenna, Barbara, Scotty, George P. and Santorum
That's five. Now, he only needs 29,995 more. There must still be plenty of able-bodied Republicans who support Bush's war. All Smirk has to do is put out the call for more GOP volunteers.

Of course, Republicans are always the last to volunteer when there's real work or real danger to encounter, so Bush will probably have to get his new troops from undocumented aliens who will do the jobs that American Republicans won't do -- such as serve their country.
