What is your "nightmare ticket"
I've seen plenty of posts of people talking about their dream tickets for 2008. How about the other side of the coin? What is the worst possible "Democratic" ticket imaginable - the one that wakes you up in a cold sweat from your sleep.

I'll start with:

- Zell Miller and running mate Joe Lieberman

(I know, I know, I'm not trying hard enough...)

52. Biden/Clinton - worse
With Hillary at the top, at least she has an appeal to women and the AA community, plus some media pull. Biden's got absolutely nothing, makes it a worse ticket than the reverse. It'll never happen, Hillary wouldn't run with Biden. But it is my nightmare ticket of those presumed to be running.

9. Disclaimer - I did not come up with this....
McCain - Obama

Some jackass on Tweety's show today suggested that one. Even Tweety slammed him for the improbability of that pairing. The commentator must be one of the last media types on earth that still views McCain as "moderate."

Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 08:10 PM by BlueIris
I still can't believe people are talking about nominating Biden. Yeah, I know they're that desperate to not nominate Kerry or Gore, but come on. Biden? For president? I mean, I know I've said I would vote for whatever we put up, including an animate box of hair, but...Biden makes the "box of hair" option seem truly appealing.

49. Anyone not loudly, strongly intending to detach the milindus complex from the Treasury
and from politics and lawmaking. Aside from the Republicans attempting to create a single-party government, this is our greatest problem and the one most likely to snowball into disaster(s).

I just don't see anyone willing to call this problem a problem, as it leads us into greater and greater warlike situations.
