Looks like the Republicans are about to attack Sen. Obama

I found this article yesterday and I also heard Tom Delay on hardball state "You are going to meet the real Obama soon."

So it looks to me like the Republicans are scared to death of Obama (good news) and that they are going to try to hit him early (might be good news too, because if he weathers the storm he will be inoculated.)

Either was I was very surprised when I saw this. What do we all think?

Obama Corruption Scandal

Freshman Illinois Senator Barack Hussein Obama is thought by many Democrats to be the magic bullet they need to win the 2008 presidential election, but under the radar, Obama has been involved in a major graft scandal that is certain to come to the forefront if he decides to challenge Hillary Clinton for the nomination.

Obama reportedly acquired his property for more than three hundred thousand dollars less than the asking price, and the coincidental purchase of the lot next door by Rezko has all the earmarks of a covert way of managing a payoff, because Obama has since bought part of the Rezko lot to expand the grounds surrounding his home.

3. I heard one of the talking heads say (can't remember which one)

something to the effect that he has a lily white background, so you're know they're trying as hard as they can. Keep digging fellas, you might be able to come up with something really scandalous, like... he said a swear word once when he stubbed his toe.

4. This writer missed a chance to also attack Hillary - could have

said something about her also having been involved in a land deal. (Even though we know the government cleared the Clintons even before Starr took it up as a fresh crime - an accusation that never went anywhere except in the imagination, lies, and hopes of the Republican Party.)

Looks like? Looks like they may have a new lie to burp up. Get them some glasses of water - they're mouths are going to be dry.

Any land purchase has got to be a crime if done by a Democrat, but the Republicans are always innocent. We now they're innocent because the media doesn't say anything.

9. Obama's gun control views

Another area of attack on Mr. Obama will surely be for the senator's stance on gun control. He favors the prohibition of all semi-automatic weapons, their sale and transfer. There are many millions of these guns legally in the hands of millions of Americans.

In general, when the GOPer decides to make a fundamental attack on their enemies, they telegraph well in advance. When Kerry was swift-boated it was anything but swift. Dick "dodge 'em" Cheney implied that Kerry was going to get scrutinized for "how he got his medals" well before the lumbering attack was unleashed. The Repubs don't need to strike fast and without warning because they know their enemies: Dems stare into the headlights when their patriotism is questioned. Dems exhibit a curious mix of psuedo-intellectual "we'll take the high road" response to attack and a genuine (and persistent) fear of the bully. The public sees this, underwriting the cynicism and lack of confidence it has in Democratic Party politics.

By the way, did anyone notice that on the morning after the November elections, that President Bush said he would work with the "Democrat Party?" I don't know of any Democrat Party. I am familiar with the Democratic Party. The expression "Democrat Party" is a re-naming of the Democratic Party by the extreme right which controls the Republican Party, not some "newkular" regional corruption of the English language. Bush persists in using it -- apparently, without correction -- thus revealing that the name change has been accepted by the Democratic Party in a most public fashion. I'm not the only one who noticed this and the lack of objection resulting.

The biggest threat to the American political system are the Republican, authoritarian smear gangs that use private money to wage PR smear attacks against Americans in politics. In the 2000 Presidential campaign, John McCain was attacked by these smear gangs when he threatened to beat George W. Bush in the primaries. In 2004, these same smear gangs took down John Kerry, accusing him of lying about his military service. After speaking out against the Bush White House’s lies on Iraq, Joe Wilson and his wife Valerie Plame were assaulted by these same GOP smear gangs. And there are many more instances where Republican gangs ride into our political system on the backs of millions in private money and silence dissent with fear and threats.

The more a candidate speaks out against the radical right, the more ferocious these smear gangs campaign against them.

The newest Republican smear gang has already set out to hunt down their next prey: Senator Barack Obama (IL). The basis of the gang attack? Repeat Obama's middle name "Hussein" as a tactic for convincing Americans that Barack Obama is a covert terrorist.

The New Face of Hate: Smearing A Democrat As a Terrorist

No matter what your view on Barack Obama as a presidential candidate (I am only beginning to look at the field of candidates for '08), Americans simply cannot allow these immoral Republican smear gangs to ride roughshod over our electoral system--threatening and intimidating as they go.

We must shed light on these gangs and drive them out of town in shame.

As of this moment, right now, I declare that Americans will not stand for anymore smear gangs in American politics.

In response to what I thought was just a vicious rumor, I was angered to discover that the smear gangs have already started a whisper campaign against Barack Obama. Consider, for example, the following post I found on e-thepeople.com--and I warn all Frameshop readers: this quoted post below is clearly the work of a Republican lynch gang running a strategy to ruin the political future and life of an American in public service:

Barak Obama a Muslim apostate headed for the White House?

Some Dems can trump Material Girl Madonna reinventing themselves. During the last presidential campaign, John Kerry made much of having the same initials as President JFK.

Barak Hussein Obama’s name only rhymes with Saddam Hussein Osama.
As Gateway Pundit aptly points out, "Lincoln was a humble man. He did not compare himself after six months in office to great men from history."

Looking at his day job, the Senator from Illinois is a senior lecturer in constitutional law at the University of Chicago. Make that the Rockefeller-funded U of C, a school that is Rockefeller down to the bone.

Obama’s Dad, a Muslim from Kenya, left home when he was two. His Mom remarried and went with her new husband to Indonesia where Obama lived during his salad years. It is well known that Obama, the teenager lived with his grandparents in Hawaii, where he attended the same school attended by Hawaii royalty. Yet little is known about who Obama’s step father was. But some say that he was an Indonesian national and a Muslim.

Still, Obama must have attended school in Indonesia. Is it possible that as a young Muslim boy he went to a Saudi madrassa?

Yes, that’s a possibility.

The chapters in the Life and Times of Barak Obama always race ahead. It was during one of those chapters when we found him taking up community organizing in the Altgeld Gardens housing project on the south side of Chicago, when he converted to Christianity, formerly being secular. As a fledgling Christian, Obama didn’t join just any church. He joined the United Church of Christ.

The Democrats attract the majority of Jewish voters and funding, and this guy is being grooned as their golden boy?

Essentially Obama is a Christian convert--but also then a Muslim apostate.

The "What If" category of "the new face of change and reform for the democratic party" doesn’t get written up by the mainstream media.

What if Obama is engaged in pious fraud? This is a Muslim practice of pretending not to be Muslim to further the cause of Islam or to "defend the faith". He becomes President and then says, "Gee…I think I want to be Muslim again" after he finds the "football" in his hands that carries the launch codes for the USA nuke forces.

Is the "New Face" theory espoused in USA Today, New Face as in the "Portrait of Dorian Grey"?

Remember the pictures of the little kids bobbing their heads up and down at the madrassas? They are all of the age Obama would have been in back in Indonesia.

What if the converted-to-Christianity Barak Obama decides to exercise his right to revert back?
Then what?

Currently, Obama is an apostate as far as Islam is concerned. This is a fact and not a conspiracy theory. They say all babies are born Muslim but then parents of infidel religions brainwash the baby Muslims into other lesser faiths. That is a fact.

What must be done with an apostate of the Muslim faith? Give him a chance to convert back to Islam.
Obama is soft on the handover of the ports to Dubai.

Meanwhile hype notwithstanding, "the new face of change and reform for the democratic party" is no Abe Lincoln, but could be the most upwardly mobile Muslim of the millennium.

And so there we have it: A whisper campaign accusing Barak Obama of being a Muslim who converted to Christianity just to pretend he was an infidel, so he could get his hands on the U.S. nuclear codes and blow up America. Barack Obama, in other words--according to this Republican gang smear campaign--is a terrorist sleeper cell.

News that Republican smear gangs have started hunting down yet another candidate with false accusations of treason--should make every American angry enough to speak out.

The "Hidden Terrorist" Frame
When Republicans accuse a sitting Senator of being a covert terrorist, America is jerked back violently to the days of McCarthyism, and even further than that, some might see, to the days when lynching terrorized small towns in America--intimidating people from speaking out the public sphere.

Americans cannot allow our country to be overrun by this kind of immorality again. We simply cannot.

We must speak back. But how?

For starters, those of us with an interest in protecting our political system from smear gangs must be fearless in the face of this fear and hate. Intimidation is the tactic of these smear gangs. Our silence is their goal. Speaking back is the best way to stop them.

And the best way we can speak back is to frame their actions in no uncertain terms--to call them what they are:

- "Americans will not allow these Republican smear gangs to take over our political system anymore!"

- "These whisper campaigns accusing Democrats of being covert terrorists are the work of Republican gangs."

- "Swiftboated yesterday, accused of terrorism today--these smear gangs must be stopped!"

Those phrases can get us started by drawing attention to the immoral and organized groups behind these tactics.

We must stop them before they damage our political system even more than they already have.
