Now That I've Caught My Breath |
|
Like you, I held my breath last night as I heard the news about Tim Johnson. Like some of you, I lit a candle. Now on Kos, they are doing an online thread that will be printed out of get-well cards. But I'm an old-fashioned sort when it comes to this. Cyber-cards are nice, but there's nothing like real paper cards to lift the spirit. Real cards can be put on the bulletin board of the office, pile up on a desk to await an arrival, can be passed around the family for everybody to share. So I'm posting the Senatorial office address for Tim Johnson.
Johnson, Tim- (D - SD) Class II 136 HART SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510 (202) 224-5842 Web Form: johnson.senate.gov/emailform.cfm
I wouldn't suggest e-mail. It's probably clogged by now with inquiries and best wishes from constituents, let alone anyone else.
If someone can find a way to send flowers, or another way to send cards to the hospital or his home, please post as well. Let's flood his office and give him both get-well and holiday cheer as well!

2. Who was the florist who sent flowers to Barbara Boxer? |
|
When Barbara Boxer stood up to challenge the reinstallation of Shrub, we sent hundreds of orange flowers to her Senate office. Who was that florist,a nd could we do the same for his staffers? He probably would prefer plants, but still....could we send something?
