25. Males are biologically necessary for human reproduction as |
|
well as almost all species. But what Bill fails to realize in his using Mother Nature as an example of a male and female team to raise a child, calf, pup, etc., is that in many species the male impregnates the female and then abandons her to raise the child on her own.
Makes sense that two parents of any kind are better than one of either kind.
As long as we are talking about Mother Nature, how about many species that have matriarchies in their herds? Think we would be better off with a matriarchy Bill?

And I don't think Glenn "O'Reilly Lite" Beck is doing him any good, either.

Why does nature dictate that a male and a female are necessary for procreation? Why wouldn't nature instead allow anyone to become pregnant, for instance by "eating a cupcake"? He was trying to pick a random, non-sexual action. He's making the point that nature intends a male-female partnership, citing the fact that reproduction requires it.
EDIT: For the record, I'm not defending him, and I'm gay.

13. As you can see by looking at him |
|
Edited on Thu Dec-14-06 08:06 PM by kenny blankenship
his head is distended with a build-up of rancid meningeal fluid. The more or less normal brain Mr. O'Reilly was born with has been flattened to something resembling a tire retread such as you'd see littering the shoulder of highway. It is a dense rubbery scab plastered against the back incurve of his skull. The oxygen flow necessary to sustain life was cut off years ago. Any electrical activity within this cast off cortex is due to its slow putrefaction under tremendous pressure. That, according to scientists, is what the fuck is wrong with him.

16. Have you looked around the other conservative sites lately? |
|
O'Reilly here makes no sense to where you have no idea if he's anti-liberal anymore. Then there's the soy-makes-you-gay dude from yesterday. Archae posted a comic from a conservative site that was incoherent and then there's Mallard Fillmore which made an equivocation between two issues that were as different and unrelated as you can get. I think they've officially flipped out after the election.

best yesterday when he referred to the Faux network as the F channel.....gotta love Jack. He found his balls again. O'Lielly never had any. He's just all messed up. He has a bully pulpit with his show....and I hear his ratings are sinking like a rock. He's so goofy, no-one, even the wingnuts, believes him. Ok, there are a few braindead followers, but he is losing his audience fast.

28. O'Reilly (obvious Republican) using NATURE as his argument? |
|
He says later in the video link that we should respect nature (as though nature forces dictate that only a man and woman are equipped to raise a child). Yet, these same Republicans (Riley included) have no problem DESTROYING our natural earth and denying global warming.
Ironic? Hypocritical? Or just pathetic?

Look at the monkey! Look at the monkey!
This is a brilliant tactic that I plan on also adopting when debating Republican morans--just go off and insert some completely irrelevant, random datum that will serve to confuse the issue, i.e.:
Republican type: "... and so the creation of man and woman by God is proof that we were all intended to live in monogamous, heterosexual relationships, which we call marriages."
Me: "Yes, and God also put nipples on men, but you don't see them lactating, now do you?"

30. Here's a friend's response to O'Lielly's "logic." |
|
Bill's argument has convinced me that there must be a connection between how a baby is made and how a child is raised. Since I made bread using my Kitchen Aid mixer and my oven, I will now use the mixer and oven when eating the finished product. This is not going to be easy, but Bill's logic is flawless.
And since a man/woman pairing is vital to the development of a child, in addition to outlawing adoption by gay couples, I propose the following (in the name of the children, of course):
If a marriage has produced children and they are still under age 18: > Divorce is illegal. > No separations - families must live together under the same roof for a minimum number of days per calendar year or face fines > Widows and widowers must remarry within one year or new spouse will be assigned. > At the time of delivery, new mothers must produce a husband with valid documentation or the newborn will be taken from the mother.
