Iraq Solution: Offer Haliburton a no bid contract to fight the war
Let the profiteers duke it out

Also we could hire them as security guards to protect our troops as they go about training Iraqi troops.

Seems to me like this thing would be over pretty quick

2. It might save lives but it certainly wouldn't save money.
They certainly wouldn't fight. They would probably build the thickest fortress they could build (at the most exorbitant cost they could conceivably charge) and spend their time hiding out there conducting surveillance by drones and playing stud poker to the wee hours of the morning.

4. Yeah, worked really good in Central America and Afghanistan too
Just pay off the killers to do the killing for you. One little snag though: in the case of Afghanistan, Usama bin Ladin was one of those subcontractors.

Just another instance proving that capitalism and free enterprise doesn't work when taking over essential functions from government... :evilgrin:
