Letterman: What happened to Dean was a horrible injustice... |
|
While Letterman was talking to Dr. Phil tonight he mentioned the media's gross misrepresentation of Dean's "I have a scream" speech.
I love David Letterman.

He has done his share of teasing and making fun of Dean and all of them, but I do appreciate that.

3. During the break Letterman and Dr. Phil were just talking about it |
|
Letterman said that he found out the tape had been edited and then he later saw Dean on MTP, he said that Dean didn't sound like a politician and that a horrible injustice had occured. They talked about the power of the media and that was about it. It made me real happy though.

7. Sorry to confuse, after the break they were just talking about it |
|
So I assume they started talking about it during the break. Yes, he said it on national television and you can see it tonight.

Lettermen went beyond apology and tried to help Dean out afterwards.

13. But, but they're *REALLY* sorry about it... |

But, but they're *REALLY* sorry about it and it'll never, ever happen again, cross their hearts and hope to die!
(Well, at least it'll never happen again until the next real Democrat needs to be destroyed.)

As in "I'd rather go to war"
And tomorrow I'll check myself into the nearest facility for a sudden and violent case of linklexia, too.

12. it's still out there though |

Yesterday morning I watched one of those early morning yuppie bimbos on CNN remarking about the movie "Monster". The film is about a brutalized highway prostitute who killed a number of her johns. I was struck by this media whore's gross imsensitivity when, in haughty tones, she commented that the film had "offended" her, because of it's sympathetic portrayal of a "homicidal maniac". This morning, this same CNN tart made an offhand snide remark about the "Dean scream".
As long as we have this sort of subtle media fiter always functioning as background noise, don't expect much shifting in the overall mindset.
