Mother Teresa said: I will never attend an anti-war rally; if you have a peace rally, invite me.
I am learning that if you focus on what you want, (peace) instead of what you don't want, (war) you will receive it in abundance! Let's focus, pray, rally, preach Peace, and we will have it! Don't focus on what we don't want, (Bush, Cheney, etc.) focus on what we want, (Gore, Obama, Kerry, Clinton) There is a movie called The Secret, I highly recommend it! http://www.thesecret.tv/

1. This is a good lesson for Democrats generally.
We must focus on what we want to do to put things right. The American people have finally figured out the that Republicans are incompetent; they believe Democrats can do better. The time has come to prove it.

2. not on the topic of anit-war per se -- but it would

3. Gee, I attended peace rallies, but the powers that be and the MSM labeled them anti-war rallies...
I'm just saying.

9. yep....when they covered them...that's what they called them...
and they didn't cover them much. Here locally every week there's one and there were more before and in the three years after ....all, if they were mentioned were called "Anti-War Rallies," and dismissed. Even the ones held at Churches...

MSM ... they decide instead of report..

4. Exactly.
One of the problems we had in '04 was that so many of us were anti-Bush more than we were pro-Kerry. I thought of this the first time I saw "The Secret" - how the politician that riles up so much negative attention may actually gain an edge, from all that energy and focus directed at him. (Although no names were mentioned, I'm sure they had a certain squatter in the White House in mind with that reference!) A lesson for '08, I hope.

5. Five words: Why - am - I - not - rich?
Just a little bit too touchy feely for me.

But thank you anyway. Seriously. I mean no dis to you, BB.

6. The "not" is the negative which your subconscious will focus on
as opposed to being rich. Your subconscious is not logical so much as literal, the logic is for your conscious mind to sort out. Instead, tell your self "I am rich" over and over, it works better, your subconscious will go to work for you to make it a reality. No it will not happen instantaneously, but your subconscious thought processes will automatically gear toward a prosperity consciousness. Your logical conscious mind will then focus automatically on ways to obtain or retain prosperity.

I am not wealthy, however I made more money in a shorter period of time than I have ever made before, when I meditated daily using this technique.

I believe the same principles hold true with pretty much any subject including war and peace.

7. Will you be my guru?
You know it's weird, but this kind of thing has been creeping into my conscience a lot lately. I see it all over the place. Maybe I should open up to it.
