Plugging a Must Read Blog about Media Predictions
I don't do this very often, hardly ever in fact, but this is just too much fun, and TOO TRUE, to miss. Go check out this Blog post from MS in LA, based on the book "The Experts Speak", which according to MS bills itself as "The Definitive Compendium of Authoritative Misinformation"

Here is the Blog link:

"Don't believe a word--- (Media prediction sputters)"
http://securingamerica.com/ccn/node/10113

It's not fair to MS to rip off her whole blog here, so I'll just post a few Teasers:

1932-- New York Times

"The re-election of President Hoover with at least 270 votes in the electoral college, four in excess of a majority, is predicted in a statistical study of vote percentages in several states based on a poll taken by the Hearst publications."

1972- The Arizona Republic

"McGovern has about as much chance as Pat Paulsen of getting the Democratic presidential nomination in Miami."

1995-- January-- Sam Donaldson ABC

"By the end of the year or early next year, Bill Clinton will announce he is not going to run again for the presidency and Al Gore will take up the standard for the Democrats."

...and think it is worth turning others onto, give this thread a "R". It's got 4 so far.
