Do we know our exact number of casualties from the Fallujah invasion? |
|
How many of our soldiers died, how many were hurt?
I am thinking if we send in more troops, 20-30K into Sadr City...etc. What kind of casualties will we be looking at? 45-60 days into it, what would * be saying about the increased number of casualties?
What would McCain/Loserman position be then?
You know sooner or later after that we will end up leaving, we will simply "redeploy."

1. More troops is NOT the answer |

MAYBE had we sent enough troops into Iraq in the first place we would not be facing the kind of situation that we're facing there now (disclaimer:I NEVER supported the invasion/occupation). I believe that sending more troops (if we can find them) in there now is only going to produce more casualties on both sides and inflame an already messy situation. I'm outraged our so-called "leaders" are even seriously considering such a plan. At this point, whatever "victory" we achieve will likely be a "pyhrric" one both for ourselves and the Iraqi people whom have already been subjected to enough "shock and awe". Our so-called "leaders" seem to have come to the misguided and tragic conclusion that the only way to save (face in) Iraq is to destroy it in a manner not quite so dissimilar from what we did to Fallujah. :nuke:
