Gingrich: fascist talk continues
It's amazing to me that ANYONE wants this guy to be president

http://www.unionleader.com/article.aspx?headline=Gingrich%20defends%20free%20speech%20curbs&articleId=13419de8-bb62-42f4-9b34-64315f906af3

Now, not ONLY does he want to alter the First Amendment, he also wants to abolish the presumption of innocence:

"If you give me any signal in the age of terrorism that you're a terrorist, I'd say the burden of proof was on you," Gingrich said.

1. Ask him what free speech rights he is willing to give up himself
It's just like "tort reform" - "we will be better off if you give up your rights, but I have no intention of giving up mine." Newt is indeed a fascist, and also a corporatist who is trying to consolidate power by grooming the powerful - a classic fascist tactic. He does know history, so he knows how outrageous this is. There is a method to this madness, and he is one scary dude.

2. His terrorism is their final solution:
The republicans have thrown people in prison by the millions!!! since they took office.

Mass murder and concentration camps, Gingrich's Goebbeleque Himler sells his final solution.

3. I would scoff at his chances of winning
except that Bush was declared the winner twice, not that he actually won. So I believe that unless we clean up our electoral process, anything is possible.

4. The Fascist Muppet....
His return to the political scene this year has been most unwelcome. :puke:

5. isn't that almost like saying to any of his wives that he has had,
"if i give you any signal that i am a cheating, lying, dog, i'd say the burden of proof that i am was on you" ... somewhat twisted paralell but i hope it works.

6. He totally dodged the hypocrisy question on Timmy's show
about his screwing the aide (or lobbyist or whatever she was), while married, and while ramming impeachment through the house.

7. Gingrich has no idea what America stands for
which is ironic since he was once a college history professor (but apparently not a very good once since he was denied tenure at West Georgia College)

8. Take a look at the front page of today's NYT
In Newtworld, this guy would have the burden of proof to prove he wasn't a terrorist because, after all, everyone else says he was. Only two slight problems: A. He wasn't. B. He was the one who provided the information in the first place and was the FBI informant. And for this he was tortured, humiliated, disgraced, abused, degraded, etc. for months on end. In Newtworld he'd have been executed.

9. Newt should stop with the half measures
and just publicly burn the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Hell, open up some concentration camps while you're at it. Michelle Malkin will be thrilled.

10. Once a gutless coward, always a gutless coward
What was Newtie's excuse for missing Vietnam? Trick knee? Too vital to America as a future cow-college history professor to risk it?

Most of these "Lock up all the Muslims" GWOTheads aren't motivated by hate so much as fear. Pure, liquid-boweled cowardice.
