Dr Dobson slapped down by multiple researchers, told not to distort |
their research in furthering his political goals. It's about time they started slapping back against this bullshit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NHdSVknB5Q&eurl=

1. Happy to see this, but don't expect much of a response from Dobson.. |
except to do it even more to spite them. That's the GOP way.

2. Dobson doesn't have both oars in the water |
and IMO he is dangerous. My uber-fundie evangelical freakshow sister thinks he walks on water. His ideas of society and government are so over-the-top it's breathtaking. All people can do is continue to speak out and correct his twisted versions of reality.

4. I have a question about that. |
I've researched the religous right for a couple of years now. The think is ... Dobson does not have his psychologist's license in Colorado (and I'll bet he let his California license lapse - he used to work with USC). He's not an ordained minister in Colorado. So, he's really just an executive of a non-profit (Focus on the Family), and a pundit. Why do people follow his advice?

and the fundies drink the kool-aid, nodding in agreement with every missive he issues. My sister is an ordained minister and the principal of a christian school, and there is most definitely a higher echelon of fundies that perpetuates the dogmatic meme and cultivates it in their churches across the nation. It is an insidious virus that permeates every corner of their fiefdom.

5. As odious as Dobson is . . . |
And Dobson is plenty odious, let's not forget that it was Time Magazine that gave him a full page of valuable, unrebutted real estate to spew his poison. The legacy of Henry Luce and Whittaker Chambers, indestructible as a New York cockroach, lives on.
