Dear Santa...............Georgie
Dear Santa:

My name is George and I've been a good boy ALL year! I go to bed at 9:00 without anyone making me, and I talk nice to God and He talks back to me and everything.

Since Christmas is near, I thought I'd better send you my list so you will remember to bring me everything that I am asking for. I almost always get what I want. I have some important things on my list, so you'll have to work real hard to fill it `cause I need new playthings real bad. You see, next month, there are some mean kids moving in to the house down the street and even more to another place in the next block. They have already threatened to take my toys away, even though I have done my best to hide them where they can't get to them. Gonzi, one of my closest buddies, said he has hidden them real good, but I have a feeling those new kids will keep digging and digging until they find them.

Remember the year you gave me the gift so I could play president...and that doll that was named Tony? I like him a lot. Tony helped me set up the war machine you gave me in 2003 and I've played with it ever since, but it has a lot of broken pieces and buildings and stuff. I've lost a lot of the soldiers and sailors and Marines, and all those little people that just stood around looking sad. Besides, I'm getting tired of playing with that Iraqi landscape that came with the war machine and so is Tony. He acts like he's getting bored and keeps saying he wants to take his ball and go home.

I think it would be neat if I could get a new landscape, like Iran...North Korea or Syria would be nice, too...and I'll need all new equipment and all new men and women and things. Well, dang! I guess I don't need a lot of equipment, just a remote control. Then I can blow up Iran or North Korea...maybe even Syria...with the push of a button and watch them go BOOM! I am SO excited.

Don't tell Mom and Dad. They think I play too many silly games. Oh, well! They never liked me anyway...you can go ahead and tell them. Besides, that mean Jimmy Baker next door will probably blab everything to them. I hate him! He thinks he's so smart...so does Daddy.

Well, Santa! I hope you have a safe trip from the North Pole on Christmas Eve. I hear the weather up there has been nice and warm. I'll bet Rudolph and the rest of his herd love that! I'll leave some cookies and milk on the table for you. and I won't peek.....promise!

Your bestest friend, Georgie
