Surge: A new way to be dishonest with the American people. |
|
I know none of us swallow this new word meant to make a troop increase seem warm and fuzzy. 15-30 thousand new troops to Iraq for a few months. The people in the know have said that if they are sent, it will be for 18 to 24 months. Good grief, when will this idiot listen. Where does he think these troops will come from? We have no back-up force. These poor kids are doing 2,3,4 tours as it is. Now we are assembling a fleet off the coast of Iran just to show them who's boss. **** is delusional, he needs to see a doctor quickly. Can't anyone rein him in? Straight jacket, padded cell, valium, something!

7. Agreed, more troops = more motivation for the insurgents to keep on shooting them |

Adding more troops will only make things even worse and even more chaotic in Iraq. Didn't the Iraq report say that adding more troops to Iraq will only give the insurgents more motivation to cause more attacks in Iraq?
But of course the neocon's can't possibly accept that as fact, it would be a reason to justify giving up and going home, a big no no to them. Besides, if they keep troops in Iraq till the 08' election they can accuse anyone of cutting and running who wants to get us out of Iraq, and let the blame fall on someone else for losing the war in Iraq. :puke:

2. I favor a military coup myself, perhaps w/the Nat'l Guard, because |
|
that's supposedly who might make up the warm body contingent dimson wants to send over there. I agree, someone needs to rein this guy in. But who?

Gimme an R!
Gimme an A!
Gimme an F!
Gimme a T!
What does it spell?
MORE UNNECESSARY DEATHS OF AMERICAN TROOPS WHO WERE SENT TO FIGHT IN A WAR BASED ON LIES THAT WERE TOLD BY A MAN AND HIS ENABLERS WHO WERE NOT MEN ENOUGH TO FULFILL THEIR OWN PERSONAL MILITARY DUTIES WHEN IT WAS THEIR TURN TO SERVE OUR COUNTRY!

5. I Get My Info From A Very Reliable Source |

Who says that it has been common knowledge in the Armed Forces since mid 2005 that a draft is inevitable if we remain in Iraq.
