Media Blowing Laura's Cancer Out Of Proportion? I AGREE.
The media is making such a big deal about Laura's skin cancer removal. One commentator on CNN said she wanted to hide it from the media "but was found out." She was in public with an noticeable bandage on her leg, she wasn't exactly being discreet! She just didn't want to talk about it. The commentator further said Laura was asked multiple times by reporters and then her staffers decided (in the commentator's words) "this is the time to come clean." Come clean? Good GRIEF!

There are so many real stories out there and the media is busy creating a drama film over Laura having an early-stage cancerous spot removed without telling them - how scandalous, Laura!

Sometimes the media and their distractions make me want to take my TV and do this: :argh:

3. They're full of shit, and so is the White House
If she didn't want to call attention to it she'd pull out some of those trousers she wears, or stick to long dresses.

This is all about 'sympathy' which is good for only a point or two in the polls on a good day. But if you're going from 30 to 29 or 28, that's a big drop, psychologically speaking!

4. Well said.
I couldn't agree more. We have the Iraq war, the war in Afghanistan, the possible "troop surge," sectarian violence in Palestine and local elections in Iran (important because of the implication for Pres. Ahmadinejad) just to name a few stories that are pressing than this one.

6. The woman has access to the world's best health care
and no worries about how to pay for it. I'd bet my next paycheck she didn't put off getting it checked out until it was life-threatening because she didn't have insurance. So I'll save my sympathy for the more deserving. Like just about everybody.

9. If it was a melanoma, it might be worth something.
It's most likely just some basal cell carcinoma that got scraped off, and that ain't worth minutes notice as far as I'm concerned. Especially not with all those men and women coming home in boxes or with missing limbs from the unnecessary war her husband sent them to.

What's next? Are we going to send Jenna a sympathy card cause she got a pimple?

10. even if she had a cancer that were actually life-threatening, I wouldn't waste a minute of concern
or caring on her, or the rest of that clueless, evil, self-absorbed bunch of wasted skin and oxygen. she has demonstrated her lack of caring so often, as has that ghoul to whom she is married, the drunken twins, and babs, that I have no concern for their health and well-being. they have created a threat to the health and well-being of this country, and for that, I have no patience, no tolerance, and no forgiveness.

May they, and their supporters, receive EXACTLY what they deserve.
