Turn to CNN! Town Hall Dialogue On Race. Set in Texas and includes Al Sharpton.

I love Al Sharpton. Brilliant and passionate in his speech. He brings a point to light and drives it home.

I wouldn't be disappointed if he were president, though it'll never happen. I hope he does run though. He's vital to the primary debates. He can make the opposing policy choice look absurd in a way that hits home with average Americans. He's the king of analogies and metaphors. I hope he runs.

2. Did something happen recently in Texas? And I love his speeches, too.

3. It's a dialogue, long overdue. It wasn't sparked by any specific recent event.

4. CNN says it was sparked by Michael Richards' tirade- it took a rant by a has-been comedian to alert
CNN to the existence of racism in America.

Jeez.
