The Ghost of Christmas Past sees us as we invade Iraq under patently false pretenses that were accepted by the media and the public and the co-enablers at that time
The Ghost of Christmas Present sees us (as a country and a world) waking up to all of the above. The pretense is ending if not over.
And in the future we see it as it is, unstripped of our false wishes and dreams - a disaster built upon the lies of our leaders. Hopefully, at this point (although the Ghost of Christmas Future did not reveal this to me) we would see slowly revealed through the swirling mists: panels of inquiry,gavels falling, reporters breathless, a president stepping down.
