Random "glimpses" of the Political Industry
----The point at which the two principle parties in the US actually "collude" against the American people may be viewed as somewhat analogous to the bi-partisan spirit displayed by Congress when it's pay-raise time. Yes,... I said "against the American people."

----Both of the parties' national organizations appear willing to argue back-and-forth until Doomsday,...... as long as THEY are the ones who FRAME THE ARGUMENT for the voters. That way, the big-money interests which literally FINANCE the "political industry" are in little danger of any serious setbacks at the hands of popular democratic will. Precisely what the Founding Fathers and Constitutional authors wanted NOT to occur.

----Case in point: By an approximate 70%-30% margin, Americans have said they want the US out of Iraq, and SOON. The shadowy figures who actually wanted this war have no intentions of complying with this tidal wave of popular will. Democracy doesn't mean shit to them,... and money does. So the expressed "intent" of getting out of Iraq somehow morphs into a plan to actually send MORE troops,.. tens of thousands of them, in fact... and a new buzzword is born. The "surge." The oft-mentioned objective of "winning" has little to do with it, now that the criteria for "winning" have become so muddled as to defy honest explanation. The war was about oil money and global corporate power from the very beginning,.. anyone who says differently is lying,... and the instigators of the war have come too far to let go of their prize now.

----So,... what will the "surge" accomplish for us? Precisely what it is designed to accomplish,... namely to help create an uptick in Iraq violence and regional instability,.. ultimately keeping the US military in Iraq for many more oil-pumping years. Anyone wondering who actually runs this country has just been given the answer from approximately 10,000 of the wealthiest corporatist elites,...... "WE DO."

----Oh yeah,..... What got us there in the first place? Well, democratic "front-runner" (and devout member of the political industry) Hillary Clinton blames "flawed intelligence."

----Bullshit, Hillary,..... and you KNOW it. That makes you a liar,.. a part of the problem,... and unfit for office. That one sentence, alone, has completely disqualified you from your headstrong effort to be president. We need someone who works for the people,.... and you do not.

----The war was started on the basis of carefully-scripted lies,.. and for unspoken reasons,...and at the preference of those who pay the costs of keeping the political industry charade alive and well. But the democratic party has already adopted a hands-off approach to neocon culpability, as doing otherwise would violate an unspoken ground rule of the political industry, itself. They're helping to frame the issue in a manner least damaging and objectionable to their "good friends" on the other side of the aisle. It's all about whether or not the intelligence was flawed. Got that? Most folks know differently,... but their view will be studiously avoided and ignored by the self-serving political industry.

----It's days like this that I hold out absolutely no hope for the American people or republic.

2. Thank you, ayes,......
--- .... but apparently not for the squeamish. At this point, it appears that the "assignment" which has been handed to the political industry is to obscure and dispel the notion that a class war is being waged in the US,... something along the lines of a "Battle of the Bulge" launched by the corporate aristocracy against the political thinking set in motion by FDR's New Deal. They've been waiting for this for a long time, eh?
