The power to stop this madman from surging in Iraq (to say nothing of surging in his pantz), and from invading Iran.

You who want to be seen as 'moderate' or 'tough on terror' have all the fucking cover you need in the **UNANIMOUS** stance of the Joint Chiefs.

The Joints Chiefs are opposed to the surge.

What else do you guys need?

Cut the goddamned funding and do it fast.

Ignore the cooked intelligence that says otherwise and go with the view of the 'commanders'.

And fer krissakes, recruit Abazaid and Casey, get them to join the cadre of Retired Generals Against The Fool, and get them to testify. You can bet your sweet asses they both decided to retire now, much as Batiste did a few months ago, because they no longer wish to be associated with an ever worsening 'mission' that is, because of Little Boots' intransigence, destined to abject failure. They retired because they know better than anyone that there is simply no fucking way that anything even resembling a 'win' can be achieved in Iraq.

You have your cover. you have your mandate.

There is no cover for cutting the funding. NONE. It would be a horrific move, to say the least.
