Is DU being used as a focus group for RW negative ads? I think
so, especially the poll questions, they seem geared toward finding out what groups to target and the flame threads seem geared toward finding candidate soft spots. What do you think? Are we playing checkers while the RW is playing chess?

3. Oh, right,.....
--- If I was a fat cat corporatist republican,... or even one of their strategists, I would not feel threatened by anything I saw happening on the DU board,... nor would I feel that it was a useful source of helpful information, campaign-wise.

7. Well, maybe
after you have been here awhile you will know better?

There is definetly a lot of trolling of DU by the enemy and plenty of attempts to distract DUers.

4. I don't know about focus groups, but there seem to be a lot of people

claiming to be Democrats or liberals who are spouting talking points straight out of the Libertarian party platform or Milton Friedman's Free to Choose.

5. While the idea is intriguing...
I somehow can't imagine any group of more than 10 democrats having enough in common to be a "focus group".... :)

It's both a strength and a weakness, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

6. Hey, I think you could get 10 Democrats to agree with you on that.
However, you didn't get the quote quite right. And your punctuation is a bit off. And you forgot to mention that Hillary or Joe Biden or the DLC or Kucinich or somebody sucks. And... and...:toast:
