and it can go up or down." Blankley then says: "He could come in with Obama." (Remember that Tony Blankley is rather "portley.")

Just posting for Gore Advocates like myself...to see what they are saying.

Gore...the "Hindenberg Dark Horse." running with what David Gergen earlier called Obama's "Mystique which is more like Bobby Kennedy than Jack." more

1. That's ridiculous....Tweety and Blankley are not exactly svelte
The only one who seems concerned is Tweety. :argh:

2. Tweety was talking about Gore needing to lose some weight. Blankely
said he knew about that. He said that he, like Gore, could lose weight when needed.

I heard Tweety say the strongest ticket would be Gore/Obama.

I actually agree with him re the Gore/Obama ticket. I like that one - a lot.

I got a phone call so I may have missed a little of the conversation.

Tweety seems hot for a Gore/Obama ticket but he keeps saying that to do it Gore needs to lose weight and gain a sense of humor.

Gore has a great sense of humor. Tweety must have missed that. Perhaps Gore's wit is a little to dry for the Tweetster.

4. Tweety did sneak in those words, "the Hindenburg," just before Blankely
began another sentence.

Tweety was calling Gore a "blimp." Tweety has consistently been referring to Gore's weight every time he discusses Gore on his LowBall. I for one am sick of Tweety doing this. This is planting a seed in the viewer's mind that Gore is fat. It is a hateful and dangerously malicious act.

Tweety should take a good look at himself in his mirror.

the daily show, and he was enormous . He couldn't button his suit jacket. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but his hypocrisy is showing. Hypocrisy seems to be another quality that tweets shares with the repugs.

20. If it weren't for Tweety's illnesses he'd be heavier than he is
It seems like every couple of years, he ends up in some health crisis (last time it was malaria he got in Africa, this time complications of diabetes) and he's out for about a week and comes back ... thinner. Now I'm not saying those were visits to a "spa" and not a hospital, but Tweety ought to cut out the cracks about Gore's weight, since he's prone to being on the hefty side himself!

8. Gore does have a great sense of humor!
His weight does seem to fluctuate. I remember when he and his son climbed Mt. Rainier. He looked great!

My brother-in-law tried to climb it that same year, but his party was turned back because of weather concerns. My little nephew would parrot back what happened, saying, "My dad tried to climb Mt. Rainier but they didn't make it. And that's okay". And I would always add, "But Al Gore made it!" Everyone would laugh except for my BIL (he did make it up the next year).

12. I know. I don't know why Tweety doesn't get that. He can be so obtuse
sometimes.

Perhaps he has missed all Al's funny appearances on Leno, Letterman, etc. or else he just really doesn't get it.

Perhaps we should send all the video clips of Al's great sense of humor to Tweety.

7. Personally, I think of Al as the "Spirit of St. Louis" type
Edited on Thu Dec-21-06 06:15 PM by Uncle Joe
He is pretty much on the cutting edge of technology and the critical issues of the day, first to arrive on the scene sometimes years if not a decade or two ahead of the pack.

14. I believe to some degree your analogy is correct,
and the people who did not believe him are loathe to admit they were wrong. Matthews is a prime example, he has so much invested in trashing belittling and slandering Al in the past as to make it impossible to apologize or admit he was wrong. So to this day, Matthews is relegated to school child analysis when it comes to Al Gore.

their "Gravy Train" might be disappearing. Since the Intelligent minds are going to the Internet and their "Ad Sales are Down" the "Powers that Be" scramble to keep folks "TUNED IN" to the "Pundit Shows."

It's (sadly) ...all about BUISNESS...or "Bidness" in Texas Chimp Speak. ...:-(

21. I liked Gergen's response when Buchanan said...
..."you're moving even further to the left than you were when you worked for Nixon"

He responded with ..."that's right."

He also said that he could support Barack Obama if he ran..

Huh. I guess I don't know much about David Gergen.

Although these are the SAME MEDIA that supported the LIES that led us into Iraq...It was still interesting to watch. :D
