Poll question: Who do you want to become the next First Lady/Gentleman of the United States??
Edited on Sat Dec-23-06 09:53 PM by ih8thegop
Sure, none of them may be the next Dolly Madison, Eleanor Roosevelt, or Jackie Kennedy, but one of these fine people will (hopefully) be either the next First Lady or our first First Gentleman. Who's your pick?

Gert Clark

Bill Clinton

Elizabeth Edwards

Teresa Keinz Kerry

Elizabeth Kucinich

Michelle Obama

Christie Vilsack

Elizabeth Kucinich is beautiful. I guess an anti-war position is very attractive. He's kinda robbin the cradle a bit their by the looks of it.

38. Thanks, that is a much better picture of Gert.
Wasn't that taken at Wes Jr's' wedding? I love the tender way Wes is looking at her. Now that's a man with feelings and one who would never send our troops (or anyone else's) into battle unless absolutely necessary. He's a man that cares about people more than money.

God, I wish this man were president!

And I would dearly love to see her as First Lady. For that matter, I would love to see her as President if she would choose to run.

35. Totally agree. She has such strength & truthiness, CEO background & defers to no one!
I love how her "strength" and "truthiness" caused many to call her a "loose cannon" in '04. The powers-that-be that like to tightly "script" and neutralize First Ladies to keep them in the backround..."traditional".

And she's sooo worldly and multi-lingual, and 'old soul' wise. My top vote, no doubt.

36. That is a fantastic picture of Teresa
almost smiling. She would make an unbelievable first lady. Between them, the Kerrys would be the most likely to have the most interesting White House. Teresa, like her husband, is both very serious on issues and fun - with a gorgeous smile.

32. I've actually spent time with Gert
She is a delight to be around. Very bright, very down to earth, wonderful sense of humor, and experienced at the job since she hosted state dinners etc as the wife of the N.A.T.O. Supreme Commander. She also is Wes Clark's true life partner, and took a very hands on role looking after the needs of families under Clark's various military commands.

So, yeah sure I'm biased, but I actually know a little about what I'm talking about here at least, lol.

43. Many of the these women would make excellent first ladies
Especially Michelle Obama or Elizabeth Edwards, but I voted for Teresa Heinz Kerry. The work she's done with the Heinz Foundation makes her a natural to take on this role. It's really a shame she was so vilified by the press in 2004, because she would have been a huge asset to a Kerry White House.
