Back to Reality...
Christmas has come and gone. Now it's back to the daily grind. Back to the war. Back to the constant barrage of news reports that attempt to rationalize this ill-begotten mess. Back to the carbombs and the soon-to-be lynching of Saddam Hussein. Back to the daily lies of George W Bush.

Back to debates about taxcuts. Back to the huge deficits and earmarks and big government spending. Back to those that argue about the catastrophe of tax increases. Back to the basic argument that those with money and power never give it up voluntarily. Back to those that pretend to support the "average" American as they dump more and more of our nations wealth into the laps of the most wealthy. Back to normal.

The US will remain distracted for another week or so.
