I Think I See What's Going On Here - (Build 'Em Up & Tear 'Em Down
Edited on Tue Dec-26-06 04:45 PM by Dinger
First, yes, I am a Clarkie, but the media has first built up Hillary, then Obama, and now all the sudden, Obama beats mccain, and Hillary is dropping, and they mentioned Edwards, who will be the next to be BEUATED ("Build 'Em Up And Tear 'Em Down"). First, it appears to be Hillary. Oviously Obama is next, then Edwards. It's BS to me. These are all great candidates, and I don't like the way they are being played by the bu$h-licking media. It's not fair to them and it's not fair to the voters.
I "like" how on CNN just now, Brazille & jeffery are on, and the question is posed to both about potential Democratic candidates in 2008. Brazille mentions Biden and Clark as some that "we don't know about" who could be contenders. (At least she mentioned Clark):) Then someone asked terry jeffery about Dems in '08, he says someone who is "left enough for the Democratic Party, but can appeal to moderates, probably someone with southern appeal & foreign policy experience." He mentioned Bayh & Warner, who have dropped out, but not Wesley Clark, who fits that bill nicely. He was asked about a Demcortat who the repugs "fear" the most, and he said this, and to me, it seemed like Wes was the "elephant in the room," and he deliberately avoided the mention of his name. If I had the transcript, I'd post it. It was interesting to me. Just my two cents. Sure as hell not meant to flame, but it pisses me off, not just as a Clarkie, but as a Democrat, an American, and a voter.

3. I don't get emotionally involved in politics.
It's all just a circus. I don't waste my brain cells trying to analyze the smooth moves or what the MSM does. I just sit back and watch the freakshow.

4. Well, No one has been torn down more than Kerry, I am pleased that he
still registers on these polls. Although, really, at this point they mean nothing. Not when the likes of Guliani is beating out McCain and other Dem's. The polls now are registering nothing but good PR.

5. You brought this on yourself
So you watched CNN and felt the bias of the commentators was unfair? Isn't that like saying, "I punched a bear, and now I have no torso! God, I hate bears so much!" You know exactly what you're going to get when you turn it on (and honestly, who still does? Doesn't Wolf Blitzer's show get worse ratings than those 4 AM Girls Gone Wild infomercials?).

10. I feel your frustration Dinger. I watched that program and felt
the same urge to punch someone in the nose. I get so mad at the media for ignoring Clark. There must be more to it than his being against media consolidation. I'm glad Donna B. mentioned him but why didn't
she say more? Why don't any other media personal bring up his name as a possible candidate? It mystifies me! It sure better change if he runs.
