6. Cheney tried to escourt Ford's widow to the casket |
|
Ford's son cut him off before he could try his 'photo op moment'.

2. Standard risk avoidance post-911....you will never see Bush & |
|
Cheney together ever at ANY PUBLIC EVENT.
You will only see them in events such as the state of the union speech. Every other public event they never appear togther, EVER. The SOTU takes place in a heavily guarded armed fortress which is what the congressional building becomes on that day.

Jimmy Carter is one of the featured speakers. So far all they've had are viewings in Cal. and now in the capitol.

7. So w still has a chance... |
|
to show some respect for that man that stopped the investigation that would have, had it continued, royally defeated the republican party for all time, thereby allowing bushco to get its foot in the door?
Heck, w owes Ford, big time.

8. Not at all. Bush is attending the service at the National Cathedral on Tuesday |
|
There are several services. I see nothing wrong with him not attending all of them. In fact, I'd think it was tacky for him to show up at all of them. Going to one is tribute enough.

I mean come on, Bush waits all year for these big games. He's got Condi there and the staff has already made the nachos. Give the big guy a break.
