CHAPEL HILL -- After a three-day, six-state tour, a casually dressed John Edwards made his final stop in North Carolina.

After announcing his second run for the White House earlier this week, Edwards has crisscrossed the country, trying to rally support. His stop in Chapel Hill was no different.
"We decide ourselves that we're going to take this thing by the horns,” Edwards exclaimed, “and we're going to bring the change that America needs. That's what this is about."

"He talked about, of course, the economy, minimum wage, environmental issues that affect all of us," said Greensboro resident and Edwards supporter Felita Donnell.
"He's that young, energetic spirit like John F. Kennedy was – and I'm old enough to remember that,” said Claudia Groeber, who is a Chapel Hill resident and Edwards supporter. “He's got something that's going to just bring us all together."
But Edwards is the first to admit it takes more than a feel good spirit. "This is about the stability and the security of the world because when America doesn't lead, there is no leader," Edwards explained.
