If Edwards doesn't get Nomination...would he run better with Hillary or Gore? |

Edited on Sun Dec-31-06 10:47 AM by KoKo01
As VP...just speculating on which candidate would be the best fit with him.

1. I don't think he'd run better, but I don't think he'd get asked to run anyway. nt |

5. Asked or not, I don't think he would do it. |
|
Both he and Elizabeth have made comments about feeling constrained during the last election and it didn't sit well with them.

6. I don't think he would accept a VP spot either in the remote chance he was asked |
|
That, and he won't be asked to anyway.

10. You appear to KNOW the future. I figure that has to come in handy, say |
|
when buying lottery tickets. Stuff like that.

2. I think he'd be good for whoever wins. |
|
And I'll keep my widely disparate opinions about Gore and Clinton to myself out of courtesy. :)

|
From listening to him on Hardball .... it sounded like he didn't enjoy running as VP. He said you can't really say what you feel.

13. I think "fit" with a running mate is an overlooked discussion |
|
I thought that edwards was a very bad fit with kerry in 2004. they were too different; edwards dynamic and exciting, and kerry, well, less so.
it appeared to me that the kerry campaign buried edwards in backwaters so as to not make the difference so apparent. that wasn't good for either candidate, or the campaign.

14. Gore. Being the bottom of two losing tickets in a row pretty much ensures |
|
the permanent demise of his political aspirations.

19. Regardless of the eventual nominee |
|
I expect the Democratic VP nominee to be either Obama, Biden, or a red-state Democratic governor or senator.
