Thr truth about my ONLY Repubican Friend!

Just finished responding to a holiday letter from my ONLY Republican friend and realize he fits the mold for Republican presidents.

He comes from a prominent East Coast family and is a Princeton graduate with a likeable, laid-back Ronald Reagan-type personality. Loyal to the Princeton “Tiger” and party politics, he was the pillar of the community until his retirement a few years ago and was actually the favored escort to our one-time Democratic governor until he up and married a Nancy Reagan double.

He was malleable enough to fit the needs of the Republican party machine and now I wonder why he was never groomed to run for a political office. He had one drawback at the time. He was an alcoholic but that never stopped Joe McCarthy or the current W.

Damn, it hurts to come to the conclusion that my friend is a typical, Republican “wuz”.
