You've got to be kidding- or you don't keep up with the news. Levin and Leahy are two of the most effective and strong liberals in the Senate. Webb has a long, long way to go before he accomplishes anything near what they've done. The fresh face thing just doesn't cut it. I want someone to make that address who has perspective and experience- and some power.

Middle of the road Democrat that is respected by not only Democrats on the coasts but also by moderates and some Republicans in the so called "heartland" or middle America as I prefer to call it.

12. Not some lame governor that no one knows |
|
Kaine sucked last time. Before that, they tried Locke of Washington, which didn't go over well. They need someone remotely charismatic and looks good on TV. Obama would be great if he weren't running for president. We don't need any presidential candidates giving the response for fairness sake. If Obama doesn't run, then he'd be perfect.
